The School of EECE is an educational unit of the Mapúa Institute of Technology comprising of three engineering programs namely: Electrical Engineering (EE); Electronics Engineering (ECE); and Computer Engineering (CpE).


The name of the school was changed from EE-ECE-CoE to EECE due to the following reasons: (1) the change in the nomenclature of ECE, from Electronics and Communications Engineering to Electronics Engineering as mandated by the new Electronics Engineering Law or the RA 9292, and (2) the new acronym for Computer Engineering, from CoE to CpE that the Commission on Higher Education prescribed.


Mission

The School of EECE shall disseminate, generate, preserve and apply scientific, engineering knowledge. The school shall provide its students with professional and advanced scientific and engineering education through rigorous and up-to-date academic programs with ample opportunities for the exercise of creativity and the experience of discovery. It shall implement curricula in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Computer Engineering that, while being steeped in technologies, shall also be rich in the humanities, languages and social sciences that will inculcate ethics.


Vision

The School of EECE shall be an international center of excellence in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering education by providing instructions that are current in content and state-of-the-art in delivery.
